Description:
R-BLOX Spray Damp(RSD) ia an inorganically filled water-based emulsion vibration damping compound which can be toweled directly onto vibrating metal or plastic or thinned and sprayed onto the surface. It comes in 1 gal or 5 gal. Pails. and 55 gal. drums for larger jobs. and should be kept from freezing as this will cause spoilage.It cures at room temperature in several hrs, when applied in a thickness of 1/16" or less, and 24 hrs. at a maximum 1/8" thickness per application.(curing time is measured in full cure)

Shelf Life:
RSD has a shelf life of six (6) months from date opened and reclosed. Store in a cool dry place between temperatures of 60 F to 80 F, and never allow product to be stored at temperatures below 40F.

Surface Preparation:
Warning: Surface to be adhered to must be scrupulously clean!!

Remove dust, dirt, oil, grease, rust. mold-release agent, etc., from the surface.
For Smooth Surfaces abrade the surface by

wire-brushing, sandblasting, abrasive paper, etc.,
followed by degreasing solvent to wipe the surface.
Mix RSD compound thoroughly, RSD is shipped at proper spraying viscosity. For thinner consistency, use a very small amount of water.

spray equipment:

5:1 ratio Graco Pumps 225-837 or 225-575 suitable for use in 5 gallon pail. Powerflo gun 204-000 with 1/4" round nozzle and 3/4" I.D. hose. Atomizing pressure: 40-50 psi.
Gun, feed lines, and pump should be thoroughly cleaned after each use: in between uses, immerse gun in water.

Vinyl based paints are compatible with material, and is required to change color and protect material from long term exposure to water erosion.

RSD Comes in 1 Gallon or 5 Gallon Pails.
